Portal News

Another big week for some local leagues as officials face the difficult task of deciding when they can start the 2021 season. Leagues want to get up and running as soon as they can but are wary of the reluctance of some bowlers to return to bowling. We've already shared the starting dates of 5 local leagues and if any more confirm when their fixtures will begin then you will read it here first.

Coming up this week on HuddWeb

  • We like to dive into the history books to share some stories from All Our Yesterdays and we have a great new ariel photograph of the bowling green that used to be on the top of Castle Hill

  • 'Name the Redundant Green' No.4 is already online and Round 5 will also be going online later this week which is the final round of this series

  • Sharing the 2021 season start dates for local leagues as they are announced

  • Fancy taking up coaching? We tell you how you can qualify as a Bowls Coach before the season begins

  • We hope to have some news on the BCGBA guidance to clubs on what they need to complete to enable their greens and clubhouses to reopen this season.

Lots more news that we don't yet know about and you can always share your news with us through our Contact Form.
