Crosland Moor bowler Terry Brook is the 2022 Huddersfield Merit winner after beating the 2021 Champion Gary Siswick 21-15 in the final at Cowcliffe yesterday.
Eight hours of bowling with 42 starters kept the crowd entertained and the bar busy. Terry had to beat six opponents to claim the title and before the final they were RayWhitwam (21-13), George Turton (21-9), Andrew Wike (21-9), D Piercy (21-7) and then Mark Atkinson 21-13 in the semi-final.
Just look at those scorelines, he never looked seriously in trouble at any stage of the competition. Well done Terry, congratulations.
