Well Bowled Fantasy League
The end of April transfers have now been factored into the latest league table for the 2022 Fantasy league. Sixteen of you dipped into the transfer market and replaced one of your under-performing teams with a hoped-for superior record from here on in. Of those 16 the most active division was the 10-man Division 2 where 10 transfers were made with New Mill A the team dumped the most times after their underwhelming start to the season. The most popular replacement selection being a tie between Milnsbridge A and Hemplow A who were both chosen by three new entrants.
Lockwood Con 'A' slow start to the season saw them dropped by two of the entrants but interestingly they were selected as replacements for the other two dropped teams who were both originally Longwood picks.
John Pix retains the top spot despite his transfer change backfiring on him. He dropped Slaithwaite as his 10-man Division 2 choice who immediately went on to record a 9-0 away win. His replacement selection is Hemplow 'A' who promptly lost 2-7 at Thorpe Green. That gives some hope to the chasing pack as we move on.
With only two divisions playing league matches this past week the number of changes are minimal but the updated table is below. This latest table excludes the Friday 6-Man Division 1 result of Longwood 4-3 Linthwaite Hall
