One new team, two more required

Winter League

There has been an instant response to yesterday's notice that the Winter League is looking for three new 4-person teams to join the League after Christmas. Brockholes have come forward to enter a 5th team in the League.

The Brockholes E team will be playing in Division 10 for the rest of the Winter League season starting on Monday 5 January. They will play on 7 Mondays up to 16 February and will then be full members of the League for the 2026-27 season. They will inherit the playing record of the Hemplow B team who cannot field a full team for the rest of the season. The table below shows that record and of the other teams in Division 10.

Two more teams are required to fill the gaps created by the two Lindley Lib teams being unable to complete the extended 2025-26 season fixtures.
