We have a winner!! The 2020 version of the Name The Green competition has reached its climax and we are pleased to announce that Jeff Smith of Meltham BC is the winner with an unblemished 100% record over the 16 challenges presented to you all.

Going into the final question with a 2-point lead and two greens to identify with 2 points available for each correct answer he could have been overtaken but he came up with the goods with another two correct answers to maintain the gap between himself and the chasing pack.

The two rollers that we provided as clues were the really difficult questions we had been looking for and only 5 fully correct answers were received from 16 entries. Another 3 had correctly answered one of the greens but only the top 5 correctly identified Milnsbridge BC and Lockwood Cons as the two mystery greens.

A further 12 had two correct answers and 18 more had one correct answer over the duration of the competition. I know that there were lots of you joining in as well but not submitting entries. No prizes on offer this time, it was all just for fun. Thank you to you all, hope it passed an hour or two during December.
