Bowling News
I under-estimated you all with this one. A record number of correct entries with 47 of you correctly identifying that Name the Green No.9 was Marsden Park. Just one wrong answer submitted with one person naming Greenhead Park as the mystery green.
Time to up the difficulty factor to test you out a little more methinks.
Green No.9 was Marsden Park
So no change in the leaderboard which looks like this:
9 Jeff Smith 7 Andrew Carter, David Catherine, Mike Pointon, Mike Thornton, Peter Swinden, Tim Poulter
6 Alan Brown, David Sykes, Jeff Mellor, Malcolm Gilbert, Margaret Whitwam,
5 Bob Haigh, T H Umpeg
4 Alan Fawcett, Woody, Dave Turner
3 John Pix, John Hodgson, Norma Maxwell
Time to turn to Name the Green No.10 which is below. This one should prove to be more difficult as I test you out before the really difficult ones come along in Christmas week. Double points will be on offer then to see if anyone can make any inroads to the lead that Jeff Smith has established for himself at the top of the leaderboard or maybe it will prove to be an opportunity for Jeff to extend his lead even further. Good luck to you all.
The competition runs on alternate days right through December. You can submit your best guess if you like and then you are into the unofficial count for which there is absolutely no prize whatsoever other than the smug satisfaction of getting more right than anyone else. Alternatively just play along for your own amusement.
Name The Green No. 10 is below. Complete the form to submit your answer.
You are only allowed one entry so the first one submitted will be the only one counted.
The answer to No.10 and Name The Green No.11 will be online on Monday.
