Winter League

We know how much you like your statistics especially when they apply to your club/team. So here is a new one for you.

Looking back to last season and adding up all the 8-0 whitewash wins and defeats for each of the 64 teams in the Winter League for the 2024-25 season.

The table shows the finishing league position of each team in each division.

All 64 teams were involved in an 8-0 result at some time during the season. Either inflicting or being on the wrong end but no team avoided both.

Well done to Almondbury BC B who won 9 of their 14 league matches by the maximum score, the best in all 8 divisions.

Interestingly the team to concede the most 0-8 scorelines in their division didn't always finish in the relegation zone.

Just for interest of course and the colour coding is easy to follow showing the best and worst in each division. And it makes the table look prettier as well. Enjoy.
