Division 1 Forecast Game update

There have been 28 entries into the Division 1 leg of the Forecast Game so far and all those entrants are listed below. There is still time for more entrants to follow, as the Division 1 entry form remains open until Tuesday at midnight.

I can also tell you that we have a tie with Thorpe Green and Lower Hopton both attracting 44% of the 28 votes cast to date. Guess which is the one other team to collect a vote. At the bottom of the table the most popular selection to be relegated is New Mill B who have collected over 60% of the votes to date. They are one of four teams that have attracted votes to be relegated so far.

If you can't remember if you completed a Division 1 Entry Form then have a look through this list of all the 28 bowlers who have already submitted their entry. If your name isn't included, then I haven't received your Division 1 entry as at 9.00am today (Saturday 24 October).

Some of you have made multiple entries. Not sure if that was a lack of confidence in the system to capture those entries or you were updating your preferred selections. You are only allowed one entry so where additional entries have been received I have always taken the most recent submission as your one and only entry. This means that you can update your selections anytime up to the deadline and these will become your sole entry to that Division's selections.

We will be providing regular updated tables throughout the season. Scoring is based on the totals for all 10 Divisions: Champions:  1st position = 3 points 2nd position = 1 point Relegation:   Bottom position = 3 points 2nd to Bottom Position = 1 point

The Division 3 competition is the only one now closed for new entries and the competitions for Divisions 8 and 10 will be closing soon. The Division 10 entry form will no longer be available from midnight on Sunday 25 October and the Division 8 one will follow 24 hours later at midnight on Monday 26 October. You can still enter the competition by completing the Entry Form for 9 Divisions. Now is a good time to complete those entries and be part of this season-long competition, which will give you two team results in each Division to look out for all season.
