Super New Bowling Calendar
Bowling News
A brand-new Bowling Calendar has arrived on the scene. The self-acclaimed Crown Green Super Calendar has been launched by the Shropshire Crown Green Bowling Association. Obviously not a lot of information on there currently so maybe not the best timing to release something few will use before the new summer season starts.
I provide the following marketing information and will leave it up to you whether you visit it or not. There is an alternative calendar system mentioned at the foot of this posting.
CROWN GREEN SUPER CALENDAR IS HERE!
I'm pleased to say that Crown Green Super Calendar is now ready to launch!
The idea behind the website is simple — to bring crown green bowls competitions, major fixtures and events together in one place, making it easier for players, organisers and spectators to see what's happening throughout the season.
WHAT CAN YOU DO?
Browse competitions and events in calendar or list view.
Search for competitions near you using your postcode.
Find event information, venues, start times and competition posters.
Add events directly to your own calendar.
Submit competitions and events for inclusion on the website.
The calendar covers open competitions alongside major county, Federation, BCGBA and other crown green bowls events.
Please note: The website isn't intended to cover individual local league fixtures or regular league matches. The focus is on open competitions, major fixtures and events.
A QUICK NOTE ABOUT 2027 FIXTURES
You'll notice that some 2027 listings are currently provisional. In certain cases, information from the 2026 season has been used to demonstrate how the calendar works.
These are not confirmed 2027 fixtures, dates, venues. Details will be updated as information becomes available. Please check directly with organisers before making travel arrangements.
I'D LOVE YOUR FEEDBACK!
This is a new project, and I'm sure there will be things that can be improved as it develops.
I'd genuinely welcome all feedback, good or bad. Whether there's something you like, something you think could work better, or a feature you'd love to see added in the future, please let me know!
I'm always open to suggestions and constructive criticism. The whole idea is to build something that benefits the crown green bowls community, so your thoughts and ideas could help shape future improvements.
HELP SPREAD THE WORD!
If you're organising a competition, please consider adding it to the calendar. The more events we can get listed, the more useful it becomes for everyone.
And if you could give this post a share, that would be hugely appreciated.
Thanks to everyone who has shown an interest so far. Hopefully, this is just the beginning of something that can continue to grow and improve over the coming seasons.
If you are looking for a new bowling calendar and not sure if this one fits the bill then you may care to look at an alternative which has been established for almost 3 years now. BWLS
