Veterans League
Another excellent team performance and another big win for the Veterans League Inter-District team as the Huddersfield side overwhelms Castleford by 38-18 to take a commanding lead in the table. A 6-2 home win coupled with a 4-4 away draw pushed the complex scoring system to record a 38-18 win and create a 13 point lead at the top of the table.
The league table and the latest round of results are below and that lead will be tested in the next round of matches as the Huddersfield team are without a match but will be comforted by the fact that they will then have a match in hand over all their main rivals. It is already beginning to look as though the July fixture against the West Riding representative team could be the title decider although lots can happen before then to both teams.
