Coming up this week ...

Portal News

Well we are up and bowling again so it becomes easier to find something to add to the website. Too easy in fact with two matchdays last week (and this) it resulted in some of the articles promised last week never seeing the light of day. Some are listed again and hopefully they will get published this week. It is very nice to have too much to add to the site but I reckon a maximum of three postings a day is as much as anyone can take.

So in the coming week you can expect to see ....

  • A double preview session to be added on Monday covering the Tuesday and Thursday fixtures

  • A review of Tuesday's matches on Wednesday followed by a review of Thursday's matches on Friday

  • Some match day photographs

  • An update on the Junior League 'Match It' fundraising project

  • 'Name The Green' challenges on three days next week - Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday

  • How far should match day catering go? The pros and cons of having your cake and eating it.

  • Some more Veterans League newsletters added covering the first six months of 2018

  • An update on the Winter League Winners & Losers competition

  • At least one more Bill & Bob Bizarre Bowling tale to tell

  • Thoughts on how we intend bringing the first-ever Winter League season to a fitting climax on the bowling green

The homepage photograph has changed today from the ariel view of the two greens at Meltham to a view of the unique green at Paddock I&C on a sunny day in May of this year.
