This bizarre moment comes from Jim Baxter at Milnsbridge and again the names have been changed to protect the guilty.

One of our bowlers playing an evening game delivered his second wood and as he walked across the green to the completed end requested a measure. His opponent was signalling two down to his marker with his arms facing in a downward direction.

'Two to you Bob' he said to which Bob replied 'yes but I will have a measure'.

'How many do you want Bob I have given you two?' said his perplexed opponent.
