Dave Parkin provides a colourful update on all the qualifiers for the end-of-season BCGBA Champion-of-Champions event as it currently stands and add this commentary.

If anyone locally was thinking of attending the BCGBA Champion of Champions weekend on 27/28 September at Owley Wood in Cheshire, they won’t be short of local players to cheer for. With 18 places still to be filled, Yorkshire have 9/46 entrants so far. This includes two previous winners in Graeme Wilson & Chris Kelly.

There are 4 remaining qualifying events held locally with Brighouse & Pudsey next weekend, Crosland Moor at the end of the month & the Spen Masters.

The latest addition to the list was Nathan Haigh who qualified through his Marsh United win on Saturday.

In the Ladies event the following day, Andrea Buckley, Emma Tobin & Linda Gledhill have all qualified with 8 more events left.
