It is the final day of the Round Robin Section Stage of the BCGBA Senior Men's County Championship this coming Sunday (3rd July). The Yorkshire team continues to lead the way in Section 2 and will play Greater Manchester in the final match of this phase.
Victory for the Yorkshire team will clinch a place in the semi-finals of the Knock-Out stage. Defeat will leave them on level points with Greater Manchester and possibly the Potteries team as well in a 3-way tie. That is when the Aggregate score comes into play. The Yorkshire side already has a big 170-point lead in that department and it would take a huge swing in results to alter that. The eventual winners of the Section will play the Section 1 winners with Warwick & Worcester leading the way in that Section.
The home leg will be played on the Top Green at Spen Victoria with the away team playing at Ashton Cricket & Bowling Club (OL7 0AU). It is a 2pm start time for both matches. The selected teams are below along with the latest Section tables and fixture list.
