The Yorkshire team beat their Wales counterparts in the Quarter-Finals of the BCGBA Senior County competition last Sunday with the home leg being played at Ossett C&AC. The format has been changed this year from the usual league setup to a straight knock-out competition due to the shortened COVID-affected season.
The reward for that win is a Semi-Final tie against North Midlands on Sunday 5 September after they beat Cumbria in their quarter-final tie. North Midlands last won the title in 2017 whilst Yorkshire's best recent run was when they lifted the trophy in 2016. The other semi-final is between Greater Manchester and Warwick & Worcester who are the reigning Champions.
