Below is a copy of the programme for the Finals Day of the 1954 News of the World Annual Handicap the premier county competition of yesteryear. This was held at the Moldgreen Conservative Club's green and included 7 Huddersfield area bowlers in the final 16 with two of them contesting the final and a local win to savour. As the front cover tells us this is a copy of one of the competitor's copies and provides a wealth of information about bowling 67 years ago.
