Weston Park Trophy 2022, Brockholes BC

With both of last year's finalists eliminated in the opening rounds of the 2022 competition, there is everything to play for as focus turns to Finals Night to be played from 4.30pm on Saturday 30 April. Just two Huddersfield bowlers have reached this stage of the competition which is run in memory of Paul Sykes who was cared for by the Weston Park Hospital in his final days.

Paul's family continue to run this event in his memory and to raise funds for the Weston Park Hospital. The competition continues to expand with a record Prize Fund of £3,400 and a cheque of £1,000 for the winner which has attracted a number of the top bowlers in the country to the Brockholes Bowling Club this month.

A bookmaker will be in attendance on Saturday early prices are now available for the opening round of matches and for the overall winner and they are listed below along with the full draw.

Entry on the night will be FREE, with official programmes being sold for £2 each. There will be plenty of hot and cold food available on the night with all proceeds from the food, raffle and programmes going in support of Weston Park Hospital so it would be great to get a bumper crowd down to see someone out of this quality line up take home the £1,000 first prize.

Any and all donations are massively appreciated and I can't thank people enough for their assistance and generosity. Hope to see many of you next week.
