Review of the Division 1 fixtures played on Wednesday 10 December

Three 8-0 scorelines from Wednesday's Division 1 programme that included a fourth whitewash win for the leaders Thorpe Green A. Lindley BC A were on the wrong end of that scoreline but remain safe in mid-table for now. Despite that win the leaders remain within reach of their two prime rivals who also clocked up 8-0 wins this week.

Lower Hopton inflicted a seventh successive defeat on Golcar Lib who remain firmly rooted to the foot of the table. They are joined in the relegation places by Kirkheaton Con A who went down by that same whitewash score to Cowcliffe A. The final Wednesday fixture was a much closer affair as Hanging Heaton eventually and narrowly saw off New Mill A by 5-3 after a shared 56-56 aggregate score.
