Veterans League

None of the four teams left in the 2026 Bistro competition have won this title before so there will be a new name of the trophy this year come what may. The two Division 1 teams left in contention meet up with Cowcliffe taking on the Division leaders, Lowerhouses at Almondbury BC. Both teams are playing off scratch. Handicaps are based on the finishing positions of the previous season when Lowerhouses and Cowcliffe finished in first and fourth positions respectively.

The other half of the draw sees the Division 2 leaders, Meltham A giving 20 start to Marsh Lib A who currently sit second in the Division 4 table. In addition the Marsh Lib team had a good run in the Sub-Team KO competition before falling at the same stage, the semi-finals, but this time to Marsh United B.

The Bistro is a 5-Pairs competition with the result decided on the aggregate scores. In the event of a drawn outcome, then the team with the most winners will progress to the Final to be played at Holmfirth on Friday 28 August.
