The scheduled date for the Sub-Team KO Final was Thursday 20 August but the heavens opened that day and flooded the Broad Oak green, making it unplayable. Hopefully the weather will be kinder this Friday when Kirkheaton Con B go looking for a second win of this title in two years. Only one team has ever successfully defended the title of this competition in the 42 years that it has been contested, and that was by David Brown Sports in 1989.

The venue for the Final remains at Broad Oak with a 1.30pm start time as the Kirkheaton Con side have a 5-point advantage with a handicap of +14 compared to their opponents' +9. The two teams have met in the League once this season when Kirkheaton Con ran out 6-3 winners on their own green. The return leg of the League fixtures is the last day of the season when the Kirkheaton team may be needing a win to confirm promotion whilst the Marsh team seem to have settled for a mid-table position.
