The two All-Division 4 semi-finals resulted in wins for the two teams with the advantage in the handicaps although in neither match was it the deciding factor. Marsh United B (+9) currently sit in 8th position in the Division 4 table as opposed to their opponents, Marsh Lib A (+5), who are in second place. Despite winning 4 of the 7 games the Marsh Lib team were eliminated as it is only the aggregate totals that determine the winners and that weighed comfortably in their opponents' favour by 143-125. This was a third consecutive semi-final defeat in this competition for the Marsh Lib team, having previously lost at this same stage to Netherton Con B (2024) and Kirkheaton Con B (2025).
With the two semi-finals being played on opposite sides of Church Street in Golcar it was Kirkheaton Con B (+14) who are taking their defence of the title that they won last year very seriously. A 142-124 aggregate win over Ravensknowle Park (+5) was enough to see them through to a second Final appearance. They will carry the aim of a second title into the Final to be played at Broad Oak on Thursday 20 August.
