Shepley continue to dictate matters at the top of Section A and a 7-0 whitewash win, their first of the season, away to Paddock I&C cemented their dominance of the title race by extending their lead to 8 points. Lots happening right behind them with changes afoot. Netherton Con and Brockholes 'A' were 2nd and 3rd on level points when they faced each other this week but a resounding 6-1 win for the Netherton boys pushed them clear and saw Brockholes drop to fourth and overtaken by Thongsbridge 'B' who had a wonderful 7-0 away win at Milnsbridge and also overtake their hosts. Oakfield remain bottom after a 1-6 defeat at Crosland Moor and the match between Lindley Lib and Longwood finished 4-3 to the home side and that wasn't sufficient to change their league positions.

There is a new leader at the top of Section B as Golcar C&BC win the Golcar Derby by 6-1 at the Liberal Club and that is enough to put them on top of the pile after previous leaders Honley Con surprisingly took a heavy 6-1 mauling at Meltham. Another consequence of losing the Golcar Derby for the Liberal Club was a drop downwards into a relegation place vacated by Marsh United who beat Clayton West to jump three places into mid-table.

All four away sides won in Section C and none of those results was a surprise. Leaders Slaithwaite extended their unbeaten record to 7 matches with a third consecutive 7-0 win this time away at Holmfirth 'B' who drop a place to fourth as a result and are overtaken by the club's 'A' team who won 6-1 at Thongsbridge 'A'. Hemplow had a second consecutive 7-0 whitewash win, this time at bottom team Brockholes 'B' and Marsh Lib completed the quartet of away victories winning 5-2 at Shepley 'B'.
