Veterans League
The climax of the Veterans League's top individual competition is this Friday with the last eight meeting in Finals Day at Netherton Con. There are three scratch bowlers left in the competition and these have been kept apart in the Quarter-Final draw. That leaves four more Division 1 bowlers left in the frame along with Paul Rushworth who has played all his matches this season in the Broad Oak 'B' team in Division 5.
There will be a new winner of this competition with no previous winners left in contention. Ian Briggs was the 2022 Champion but he was beaten in the last round by his Longwood teammate, David Walkden. Frank Greenwood was also eliminated in the last round as the only other previous Rose Bowl Champion (2003 and 2004).
