We need your help in getting organised for the 2021 bowling season. No-one really knows when we will be allowed to return to competitive bowling but we should have a better indication after 22 February when the Government has said that they will publish their Road Map to Return to Normality. Even then there is much to do as we don't even know if the bowlers are ready to return to the greens or not. So we thought that we would ask you.
This short 5-Question Survey will take you 2 minutes but will help leagues understand the current thinking of some of their bowlers on this important issue. We want to run the survey three times over the next three months to gauge whether people's thinking is changing over that period or not.

This, and future surveys, can only help and hopefully influence when Leagues decide to start their season. What we don’t want is for the Leagues to decide when to start only to find that some teams can’t fulfill their fixtures because some of their bowlers are not yet prepared to start playing.
Clearly this can’t be an exact science.
However it will be much better if the starting date fits in with when Clubs are confident they will have a full team. I would therefore suggest, to get a bigger and therefore a more representative sample, that each Club seriously considers having their own internal survey of its bowlers to ask when are they prepared to start bowling.
