Reporting rethink re Saturday League

When I revamped the HuddWeb website to provide weekly reports on 6 local leagues I included the Saturday League in that number. Since then the Saturday League has decided to play friendly matches with no promotion or relegation which is some way from the model I was expecting. I have therefore decided not to include the Saturday League in the weekly previews and result reviews on the website this year. There is a lot of work providing such information and with reduced numbers and dwindling interest in the competition this year, it doesn't justify spending that amount of time reporting on something that is of limited interest to readers.

That still leaves five leagues that are well covered by pre-match and results reports covering the Veterans 6-Man League, Veterans 10-Man League, Mirfield League, Ladies Works League and the Winter League. Lots of other bowling-related subjects are all covered with extensive provision for clubs to use the platform to promote their own events and history.
