Pairs KO title holders fall at first hurdle

The Clayton West pair of Tim Poulter and Edwin Haigh have won the Pairs KO for the last two years that it has been contested but they wont be extending that sequence into a hat-trick of wins after going out in the Preliminary Round yesterday. Beaten 21-19 at Ravensknowle Park by Meltham pair Allen Chapman and Baldwin Walsh to lose a pairs match for the first time since 2018.

Round 1 will be played at Lindley Lib next Thursday (18 May) with a draw of the last 16 bowler pairs still to be made.
