Over-70's Pairs KO Title-Holders in Finals Day

Twenty pairs assembled at Kirkheaton C&BC on Thursday to bowl down to the last eight who would progress through to Finals Day in the year's Over-70's Pairs Knock-Out. Finals Day will be played at Lowerhouses on Thursday 21 May and the Lowerhouses pair of Graham Hirst and Les Holmes will be odds-on favourites to retain the title for a second consecutive year.

The opening game on Thursday was a rerun of the 2025 Final when the Lowerhouses pair ran out 21-14 winners over Tim Poulter & Edwin Haigh. The result narrowed this time but a 21-17 outcome paved the way for the Lowerhouses pair to progress.
