Over-70's Finals Day line-up

The Veterans League's Over-70's KO competition reaches it's last stage with Finals Day being played at Lockwood Con this Thursday with a 1.30pm start time.

There are three scratch bowlers in the final 8 and two of those meet when reigning Champion, Eddie Haigh, takes on Graham Hirst (Lowerhouses). The other scratch bowler is Tim Poulter (Clayton West) who is in the other half of the draw and he faces Marsh United bowler Ken Roys in his quarter-final tie.

The rank outsider is John Beaumont (Skel Windmill) who has a 6 handicap but he has already accounted for one +2 handicap opponent to reach this stage. The full line-up looks like this:
