A review of the 10-Man League fixtures in Divisions 3, 4 & 5 played on 16 May

The Golcar Lib 'B' team have emulated their 'A' team's achievement of topping their respective table this week. A great leap in Division 3 from 5th to 1st position was the reward for a 7-2 home win over Kirkheaton C&BC 'A'. They unseated the previous leaders, Denby Dale, who lost 3-6 at home to Almondbury Lib who move level with them on points in a congested top five only separated by four points.

Brockholes 'A' and Paddock I&C were 2nd and 3rd before this week's fixtures but away defeats for them both left them in 4th and 5th positions. Paddock losing 3-6 at Slaithwaite and Brockholes handing Meltham 'B' their first win of the season when going down 2-7 even though that was insufficient to lift them off the foot of the table.

Outlane had a good 6-3 away win at Lockwood Con 'B' to condemn their opponents to a relegation place in the updated table. Skel Windmill's 7-2 home win over Kirkheaton C&BC 'B' completing the day's fixture programme.

There was also a change at the top of the Division 4 table with Springwood dropping down to 2nd place despite winning their away match against Ravensknowle Park by a respectable 6-3 margin. Lindley Lib 'B' take over at the top after a 7-2 home win over the Rugby Club putting them one point clear.

The bottom two teams went up against each other this week and a resounding 9-0 home win for Marsh United 'B' saw them climb from 10th to 6th position and condemn Lindley BC 'B' to another week in bottom spot and now 6 points adrift of their nearest rival. Primrose Hill Lib assume the second relegation place after a first win in three for Almondbury BC 'B' and Marsh Lib's 7-2 home win over Kirkheaton Con 'B' pushed them up two places to third place.

It was a good day for Division 5 leaders Milnsbridge 'B' for as well as claiming a 5th consecutive victory with a 5-4 away win over one of their prime rivals, Brockholes 'B', they were also the only top five team to win. David Brown Sports lost ground with a 3-6 loss at Kirkheaton C&BC 'B' who made it two home wins on the bounce after losing their first four fixtures. There was also a surprise outcome for Broad Oak 'B' who provided a first win of the season for Holmfirth 'B' with a two-point aggregate difference (114-116) proving key in a 4-5 scoreline which lifted the Holme Valley side off the foot of the table.

Good wins for Greenhead Park (6-3 at Hemplow 'B') and Netherton Con 'B' (8-1 at home to New Mill 'B') completed the week's fixture programme.
