New £10,000 funding available

New funding this September is now available to sports clubs to support the return to sport which includes bowling. Sport England have received a further £5million from the National Lottery for distribution which they will use to match sport clubs fund-raising schemes which could provide up to a further £10,000 per organisation. So clubs now looking at their winter maintenance programme could identify areas for development and improvement at your club and make a bid for funding to support it.

Name of Fund: Return to Play - Active Together Fund An additional £5 million of National Lottery funding has been made available in September to continue supporting clubs and local organisations to set up and run their own crowdfunding campaigns to help sustain them through the Covid-19 pandemic and return to play. Sport England’s Return to Play: Active Together Fund is a crowdfunding initiative that can match fund successful Crowdfunder campaigns by up to £10,000. Sports clubs, charities and other community organisations delivering sport or activity in England are invited to run their own crowdfunding campaigns, fundraising for things such as a loss of income due to the crisis, additional coaching, facility hire, and any other Covid-19 related needs. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
