Last week Elland WMC dislodged Primrose Hill Lib as the long-time leaders of the Division 4 table and will be aiming to extend that status this Monday when they take on Brockholes A. The Brockholes team ended a run of five matches without a win last week when they beat Lindley Lib C and they will be looking to build on that this Monday but Elland WMC are top of the division for a good reason and will be difficult to overcome. Yet they are only top of the division due to a better Aggregate Difference of 45 to 15 over Primrose Hill Lib. They are both on the 34-points mark and dead level on the Aggregate For mark of 370-370.

Primrose Hill Lib will be keen to resume life at the top of the table with Netherton Con A standing in their way this week. The Netherton team also stood in their way on the opening day of the season when they beat the leaders 6-2 to show their credentials and will be looking to complete a double over them.

There is a bottom-of-the-table clash with the two teams in the relegation places going head-to-head. Lindley Lib C and Huddersfield Recreation Club are both on the same 31 points mark and are only separated by a better Aggregate For mark of 338-329. Two more teams level on points meet each other to complete the Monday programme. Linthwaite Hall A and Milnsbridge B face each other with the winner likely to force themselves into the promotion battle.

There is a top two meeting in Division 10 as the leaders, Rastrick, take on the team they shunted off the top spot last week, Thongsbridge. The Thongsbridge team suffered a first defeat of the season last Monday when going down 2-6 to Hemplow B. The Rastrick team remain undefeated as do Skel Windmill who face up to Outlane B this Monday and will be looking to narrow the gap to the top two.

The two Lindley Lib teams fill the 5th and 6th places in the table and are only separated by 2 points and have contrasting opponents this week. The Lindley Lib D side take on bottom-of-the-table Brockholes D who are still looking for their first win of the season whilst the E team meet the resurgent Hemplow B team. A win over Thongsbridge last week shows the potential of the Hemplow team and they will be keen to confirm that this week.
