Monday matches at Pip Hill are off

The Division 4 fixtures scheduled for Monday 15 December have all been postponed due to the illness of two key host club personnel. A new date for these matches has still be finalised.

All eight teams have been contacted and are aware of the postponements. All the spectators and bowlers missing out on their daily dose of bowling may care to wander down to Netherton Con where the Division 10 teams are meeting for the first time. The 'Cake-Capital of Winter Bowling' is their home for the rest of the season and there are some changes in the teams in this Division.

Three teams have indicated that they are unable to extend their 7-week seasons which was the original agreement. We therefore have three new teams taking over the fixtures of these three teams. One of them, Brockholes E, has taken over from Hemplow B, starting on Monday, one week earlier than the other two new teams.

Skel Windmill B and Holmfirth B will take over from Lindley Lib D and Lindley Lib E with effect from Monday 5 January. All these name changes along with bowler registrations, will be updated on Bowlsnet after next Monday's Division 10 fixtures have been completed.
