A preview of the rearranged Division 3 fixtures to be played on Tuesday 2 January

After being knocked off the Division 3 topspot for Christmas, Marsh United will be aiming to return there this week when they need 3 points from their match against Primrose Hill Lib to overtake a Hanging Heaton team without a match this week. This match being one of four postponed on 4 December when the Primrose Hill green was frozen.

A Rastrick team, fresh from their success before Christmas of being the first team to beat Marsh United all season, will be looking to build on that when they take on relegation-threatened Paddock I&C this Tuesday. Milnsbridge B need to start a run of wins if they are to have any hope of taking one of the two promotion places and a win over Thorpe Green B is essential to start that run. Lindley Lib B have at least one match in hand over all the other teams in the Division and need to turn those matches into points to ensure that they don't get sucked into the relegation fight. A win over Dalton this week would begin that process ideally but Dalton will have their own views on that.
