More Winter League start dates

We are now just missing the Division 7 Netherton Con host green from the list of start dates for each of the 10 Divisions in the 2026-27 Winter League. Thorpe Green, Lockwood Con and Huddersfield RUBC have added their opening dates to the list this week so we just need to hear from Netherton Con before we can start completing the fixture programme on Bowlsnet. The latest list of start dates are in the table below.

We are still looking for a new host green for the 2026-27 Winter League season. We already have a waiting list of five teams wanting to join the League. Last week I was approached by teams who have been playing during the Winter months at Heckmondwike for the past three years.

News that the Heckmondwike Winter League has closed down with one of the greens no longer in use and 'increased costs and uncertainty about the future of the club' all adding to the decision to close down their Winter League. All this adds to the certainty that we could readily fill an 8-team Division 11 if we only had a green to play on. Do you know of any?
