Bowling News
Another club that hopes to open their green again for members from next Monday. Lindley BC are advertising booking arrangements on their Facebook page along with news on progress on the green along with a couple of new photographs.
The Facebook update goes on to say ....
The green is coming on nicely now. The mower down to 6mm and it looks well. There are a few patches on the far side of the green caused by an attack of fusarium due to the wet winter but it has been treated, new grass is now growing in the patches so once we get the granular feed on next week they shall gradually fill in. Let's just hope that we get the go-ahead to commence bowling on the 29th March. If we do get the nod for bowling to commence on the 29th then you will need to book on Jezzam and bookings are already being accepted for members of LBC. Tell us when your club is reopening it's green.
The green is looking in decent shape and it will be good when the Clubhouse opens to see various improvements which have been made in recent months - new conservatory furniture and decoration, new seating and decoration in the Clubhouse and new toilets.
A good friendly Club to join which in recent years has branched out with monthly social events.
