There are just two Huddersfield-area teams left in the Eric Hutchinson Memorial Cup as the competition reaches the last 16 teams in contention. This competition is for 12-person teams which must include at least two male or two female bowlers.
This is the 16th holding of this competition and over that time no Huddersfield-area team has ever lifted the trophy, in fact no local team has even reached the final before. Time for a change but with only two local teams in the last 16 that remains a big ask.
