ORGANISER APPEAL - ATTENTION ALL BOWLERS - ENTRANTS REQUIRED

Embarrasssingly with a month to go, I am having to make this post despite running this compeition successfully for the last 9 years including during the peak of Covid. We are only half full and at risk of binning the competition.

The only difference this year is we have asked for payment in advance (reimbursed if you cannot attend closer to the date and if your spot is filled). So I ask myself is this the problem? Is this why so many organisers are being left with no shows because the pay on the day players are giving last minute back word and abusing it?

As it stands, 33 players have enterered, some of who have 30 days to pay. But right now 13 players have paid leaving us with 31 spaces and potentially 50 spaces if players don't pay up. I'm even shocked to see a lot of the previous winners havent entered.

Its a cracking venue with great facilities, the green is very small and technical but a great playing surface. The event is well sponsored in terms of prize money. Entry is only £25 which brings in £1600 of the pot but the rest is sponsorship. Win just 2 games to double your money and qualify. Win 6 games to win it!!

Saturday 20th September - 4 Spaces Available

Tuesday 23rd September 4 Spaces Available
