Veterans League
It is the Julie Fuller Trophy Semi-Finals on Monday with the possibility of an all-Division 2 Final as each Semi-Final pitches a Division 2 team against a Division 1 team. One of those two being the Division 2 leaders, Slaithwaite, who are also defending this title after winning it last season when they were a Division 3 team. None of the other three teams have won this competition before so there is much interest in the outcome of both matches.
Slaithwaite have already beaten three Division 1 teams to reach this stage and are well fancied to retain their hold on this trophy. In contrast Clayton West haven't faced a Division 1 team in any of their three previous rounds of this competition up until now.
There are some rescheduled League fixtures this week and a preview of those will be online tomorrow (Monday) morning.
