Julie Fuller Trophy Round 3 Preview
It is Round 3 of the Julie Fuller Trophy this Monday with the new format designed to overcome the shortage of dates to run this competition in its traditional KO format. This format also supports the intention of getting more bowling time for more bowlers after the downtime of the past 18 months.
This week sees the top two teams in Section A, Shepley and Netherton Con, go head-to-head with neither particularly prominent in the JFT League Table (below). After 4 rounds the top 4 teams will go into the KO Semi-Finals so still lots to play for with leaders Slaithwaite looking to beat a third scratch team when facing Paddock I&C.
