Veterans League
The Hickson Trophy is a one-day competition between teams in the Yorkshire Veterans Inter-District competition along with teams from Barnsley and Sheffield. Districts take it in turn to host the competition with Skipton being the 2022 hosts. The age qualification is different in this competition to that in the Inter-District League with bowlers only qualifying to play upon reaching their 65th birthday.
Teams of 12 bowlers play individual matches with the aggregate score determining the winners. Huddersfield are the current Hickson Trophy holders having won the title in 2021 when also acting as the host district.
Skipton is hosting the 2022 competition on Friday 8 July with the draw resulting in the following set of fixtures.

Match 2 – Barnsley v Halifax at Cononley
Match 3 – West Riding v Skipton at Whinfield
Match 4 – Huddersfield v Sheffield at Craven
Semi-Finals Start 12.30pm'ish
