Green at Kirkburton, but when?

Did you know that there used to be a bowling green just off the Penistone Road at Kirkburton? It was tucked away at the back of what was then known as the Three Owls public house now known as The Foxglove. This same location also previously had the name of the Railway Junction Inn.
