Winter League
The Division 5 leg of the qualifying rounds of the Winter Cup is being held at the Netherton Cons green this Friday. There are 32 entrants who will begin at 11.30am sharp with 5 jacks on the green at all times, so plenty of action for the casual spectator. It is anticipated that there will be 5-hours of bowling to savour along with ample refreshments from the Netherton catering team who specialise in cakes of all sorts with the home made parkin being my particular favourite.
Four qualifiers will make it through to the Round of the Last 24 which will be played out at Lindley Lib on Wednesday 10 April and then the final 8 from there will progress through to Finals Day to be held at the same venue on Sunday 14 April.
