Veterans League
The closing date for entrants into the Lower Divisions Trophy was Monday and the opening rounds of matches will be played this Thursday (6 April) on two green. Bowlers should report to their allocated greens by 1pm. The last eight will progress to Finals Day to be held a week later (Thursday 13 April) at Outlane.
Last year there were 18 entries and this year there are 35 bowlers from the 6-Man League and divisions 3, 4 and 5 of the 10-Man League that have gone into the draw. That is almost double the number from last year, a huge increase.
Andy Wike of Huddersfield Recreation Club is the holder of the trophy but is not defending his title.
Below is the green allocation for the 35 entrants. I assume that the draw for each green will be made on the day as there is no draw on Bowlsnet.
The draw is being made on the day so it is fair to all players in case of any dropouts/no shows
