Eddie is Division 2 Top Bowler

Eddie Haigh completed a good double when adding the Top Bowler prize to his Meltham team's Division 2 title success. Having played all 16 of Meltham's matches this season and winning 14 of them, which is two more than any other bowler. he is a deserved winner of this new award.

The photo shows Eddie receiving the very impressive Lily Rose Trophy from Margaret Swinden after the matches on Wednesday played against a backdrop of Storm Dudley. The trophy was donated to the League by Margaret and Peter Swinden as part of their celebrations to welcome their first grandchild into this world. Maybe in years to come Lily Rose will be attending the presentations as well but hopefully on drier and warmer days than last Wednesday.
