Preview of the fixtures in Divisions 4 &10 to be played on Monday 9 February
A second preview of Monday's matches in Divisions 4 & 10 to highlight the closeness of affairs and what could be the outcomes in both of these divisions at the top and bottom and also in the chase to be Top Bowler in both Divisions. A great final day climax.

It is the final day of the Division 4 season this Monday with absolutely nothing decided at the top of the table. Both the title and promotion matters will be decided by Monday results with homesters Primrose Hill Lib in poll position to take the ultimate reward. They are clear of the two teams that could both pass them in this final day circus. They may or may not be comforted by playing relegation-threatened Lindley Lib C who need four points from this final fixture to be sure of avoiding the drop down into Division 5 for next season. Brockholes are most in danger of taking the second relegation place and an 8-0 win over Linthwaite Hall A may not be enough to save them from the dreaded drop.
Netherton Con A and Elland WMC both present a threat to Primrose Hill Lib's title hopes and even with them playing each other this week they could still cook up a result that would deny the homesters a step up in status for next season. Whether they take that or play the Decline Promotion card will only be decided after the day's results are all in. Primrose Hill Lib can only be denied promotion on the green if they lose their final match 0-8 and if Netherton beat Elland 6-2 to send them both up on better 'Aggregate For' totals. All highly unlikely but that is what can happen in bowling.
DIVISION 4 TOP BOWLER TABLE

The presentation of the Division 4 awards will take place before the Division 4 Winter Cup Qualifying Round on Monday 23 February. There are trophies for the Division Champions and also the Top Bowler, which is also very close, as can be seen by the table above. The tight finish at the top of the division table is replicated in the Division 4 Top Bowler award with 5 bowlers still in with a chance of claiming the title, with one set of fixtures still to be played.

There are still two rounds of fixtures to be played in the Division 10 programme with the likelihood that the destination of the Champions title will not be decided until the final day of the season. It is then that there is a top two confrontation between Rastrick and Thongsbridge with everything up for grabs, assuming that there are no surprise results from this Monday's fixtures. One point separates the teams at present in favour of Rastrick but Thongsbridge have a better Aggregate For total and it could come down to that minute difference.
We haven't got a Division 11 yet but the likelihood is that we will have one for next season and the bottom two Division 10 teams will join those ranks then. It is probably resting between four teams with two of those, Holmfirth B and Brockholes E, having to face the top two title challengers this Monday. The meeting of the other two concerns, Outlane B and Brockholes D, could be equally as critical in determining which teams go into the final day in fear of relegation.
Three bowlers, all from the two top teams, are in contention for the Division 10 Top Bowler award. So not only could the Champions title be decided in the final day meeting of the top two teams, it could also come down to one individual game where the Top Bowler contest is settled.
