Preview of the Winter League Division 3 & 4 fixtures scheduled for Monday 24 October

As the season progresses the match days settle down to a regular routine with Divisions 3 and 4 fixtures being played every Monday starting tomorrow at Thorpe Green and Lindley Lib. In Division 3 the top four teams play each other leaving the bottom four teams to sort matters out between themselves as well.

Just one point separates the top three teams with two of those meeting head-to-head when the Recreation Club 'A' team take on Brockholes 'A'. None of the top four have played each other before so adding more uncertainty to the mix.

In Division 4 Marsh Lib got off to a great start last week with a whitewash 8-0 win over the 'A' team from Netherton Con and will be looking to build on that tomorrow when they play the host club's 'B' side. They in turn also started strongly clocking up an opening day 6-2 victory over Milnsbridge 'B'.

The teams holding down the 3rd and 4th places at present meet up this week as Lowerhouses 'B' and Kirkheaton C&BC go head to head. Remember it is an 11.30am start time this season with no school runs for grandparents to worry about this week as it is half-term.
