Division 10 fixtures update

The Monday matches at Lindley Lib and Primrose Hill Lib scheduled for last Monday were postponed as the host clubs deemed that the greens were too unsafe for pensioners to be striding about on. The Division 4 fixtures at Primrose Hill Lib will be rearranged once Tommy and Mary return from holiday.

It was always one of the conditions that Lindley Lib offered their green for a 7-week season that no postponed Division 10 fixtures could be rearranged for an alternative date. The club confirmed that after Monday's postponements.

We have previously reported that Netherton Con have offered their green for the second half of the season for the Division 10 teams to complete their full season of 14 matches. That will start on Monday 5 January. Before then Netherton Con have offered their green for the outstanding fixtures postponed on Monday 1 December to be played. These postponed matches will now be played on Monday 15 December at 11.00am at Netherton Cons Club.

Netherton Con will also welcome any Division 10 bowlers to their Christmas Party to be held from 1.30pm on Thursday 18 December from 1.30pm following the conclusion of the Division 6 fixtures on the green that day. Full details on what is happening and how to book your seat in the clubhouse can be found here. The last day for booking your place at the party is very conveniently Monday 15 December. Division 6 bowlers should all be aware that matches will start early on Thursday 18 December with a 10.30am start time to ensure that the party can start at 1.30pm.
