Preview of the Divisions 6&7 fixtures scheduled for Thursday 27 November
PAIRS KO ENTRY DEADLINE
The entry deadline for Division 7 bowlers into the Pairs KO competition is looming and is on Friday 5 December with the Qualifying Round for Division 7 bowlers being played on Friday 12 December. Full details and Online Entry Form

The B teams from Cowcliffe and Brockholes are the top two teams in Division 6. Both have 100% win records to date. One of those records will go this week as the two teams go head-to-head. Difficult to identify which of these teams will emerge as the team most likely to top the table come Thursday evening. Both have Played-4 Won-4 records this season. The 'Aggregate For' distabnce between them is only 5 points (225-220) and the 'Aggregate Difference' is even closer with just 3-points between them (182-179) as to be meaningless.
Brockholes B have won their fist 4 matches by the same 6-2 scoreline. Even that isn't good enough to send them to the top of the table as Cowcliffe has a slightly better return on their 'Aggregate For' scorelines. Too tight to call but whichever team does come out on top it will only be after a determined effort to overcome their nearest rival.
The teams in 3rd and 4th position also go up against each other as third-placed Springwood C meet Almondbury BC A who have gone off the boil a little after a great start to the season. Again this is too tight to call with the two teams level on the 18-points mark. With Netherton Con B taking on Hanging Heaton B and Sporingwood B v Outlane A also in the programme there is still plenty to play for.

Huddersfield RUFC, will not expect their 8-points lead at the top of the Division 7 table to be threatened when they play second-from-bottom Lockwood Con B this Thursday. However should they stumble then Kirkheaton Con B and Holmfirth will be poised to take full advantage when meeting Huddersfield Recreation Club B and New Mill C respectively.
That just leaves the meeting of bottom team, Broad Oak B, and Marsh Lib A who when they met at this level last season, it was Marsh Lib who completed League double over their Thursday opponents.
