Veterans League Division 1 team Crosland Moor has withdrawn from the Veterans League for the coming season. Team raising problems being the reason for their withdrawal. It is a sign of the times and a huge setback for the League losing any team at this stage of organising the season especially as that means that one of the top greens in the League will no longer be staging Veterans League bowling in the top division.
Crosland Moor will continue to play their 6-man team in Division 1 of the 6-Man League.
Today is the Annual General Meeting of the Vets League when clubs will learn of the withdrawal of one of their more long-standing clubs. A huge setback.
