One more trophy sponsor required

Winter League

The Winter League has been very fortunate over the years to have some wonderful backing from the bowling community, individuals and clubs, to appeals for sponsorship for trophies to be awarded to successful teams and individuals. An earlier appeal in the season resulted in another three offers of trophy donations and we will be announcing those details shortly but we still have one space left needing cover this season.

The League doesn't pay out cash prizes for team and individual successes but we are keen to mark such achievements in a long-lasting manner. The Division winners and the Top Bowler in each division are presented with perpetual trophies to be retained for a year to mark such achievements. With two new divisions in operation this season we are looking for two new trophies for each of those divisions. We are currently one trophy sponsor short.

Previous support from individuals and clubs have marked family connections or the services of a stalwart club member. A suitable trophy costs between £80-£120 and we have some brochures for sponsors to select from. There is a good choice from cups to shields or plaques or cut glass, it is your choice. On the same subject can I remind all the current 18 trophy holders to return their trophies by the end of the month so we can look to present them to the 2026 winners as the season draws to a close.
